The HEMS Technology USB radio module, HEMS-TXR™, uses state of the art SOC radio chip and industry standard 8051 microcontroller. The radio is designed to meet the our standards for mesh home automation network.

The radio has a compliant software stack and application layer that is specifically designed for the HEMS-TXR™ radio module. The module can easily be sold as an independent “mesh” USB module for OEM sensor and control applications or utility systems AMI/AMR.

The HEMS-TXR™ operates in the sub 1GHZ frequencies and is Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) for maximum penetration rate in any hostile RF environment. It is certifiable under FCC Part 15 regulation for operating in the ISM band of 902-928MHZ.

The radio can be frequency programmed for 868MHZ Automated Meter Reading (AMR) requirements for the European market.

A basic version, the HEMS-TXR™, is designed for short range home automation networking and is the standard radio in all HEMS 220 Power Monitors. In a home network configuration, the HEMS-TXR™ USB radio module plugs into a home PC and acts as the node controller.
